Durham St Bede’s

I don’t like strong alcohol beers and at roughly 7% wasn’t looking forward to it. It was really rather nice. Tasted this on a trip to Durham Brewery, which is well worth a visit.

Appearance: Deep golden, like mead, not much of a head.

Aroma: Malty, spice (coriander??)

Taste: Sweet, malt, coriander.

Score: 7.5
